RetirementPace articles explain how retirement math works: how much you need, how withdrawals and taxes interact, when to claim Social Security. They don’t tell any one person what to do with their money, and they never recommend a specific investment.
Sources
- Rules come from the primary source: the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and the law itself.
- Every dollar limit, threshold or rate in an article is read from the same rules data the planner uses, so it matches the calculators, and it links to its official source at the end of the article. Those figures are checked again each autumn, when the agencies publish the next year’s numbers.
- Research, such as studies of safe withdrawal rates, is cited by author, title and publication.
Who writes and checks
Each article names its author, the date it was published, and the date its facts were last checked against its sources. Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Every article is checked against its sources and approved by its author before it is published. If a credentialed professional reviews an article, the article says who and when.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us at hello@retirementpace.com. Factual corrections are made promptly, and the article’s “last reviewed” date changes with them.
Independence
Money never decides what an article says. Affiliate links are labeled where they appear and listed on disclosures. They never appear inside plan or calculator results.
