Privacy policy

RetirementPace (retirementpace.com) is operated by RZWare LLC. This policy says exactly what we store, where, why and for how long. Today the list is short: a waitlist and cookie-less analytics. We will update this page before anything new is stored.

The short version

  • No cookies. No third-party scripts, ads or trackers.
  • No bank or brokerage account linking, ever.
  • We never sell or rent your information, and never share it for advertising.

If you join the waitlist

We store:

  • your email address,
  • which form you used (for example, the launch waitlist), and
  • the time you agreed to hear from us.

We use it only to email you about RetirementPace: first to confirm your address, then launch news. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Your email address is stored in our application backend on servers operated by RZWare LLC in the United States. It is never written to our analytics or our server logs.

We keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Email hello@retirementpace.com and we will delete it.

Analytics

We count visits with our own first-party, cookie-less analytics. When a page loads, your browser sends us the page path, the website that linked to us (its domain only), any campaign tags in the link (utm_source and similar), your browser’s user-agent string, and a random id kept in your browser tab’s session storage so we can tell one visit from several. The id disappears when you close the tab.

We do not record your IP address or anything you type into a form. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we record nothing. Analytics records are kept for 30 days.

The planner

The free planner runs entirely in your browser. The plan you build, its scenarios and every result are calculated on your device and never sent to us or anyone else. We don’t see them, and they never reach our servers or our analytics.

Your plan is saved in your browser’s own storage (IndexedDB) on this device, so it is there when you come back. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it, and so does “Start over”. “Export plan” saves a file to your device. The file is yours: we never receive it, and importing it reads it in your browser.

Cloud save and monthly tracking (RetirementPace Plus) aren’t available yet. Before they are, this page will say exactly what they store.

Children

RetirementPace is not intended for anyone under 18.
